INTRODUCTION
TimV Safaris hunts the western half of the Eastern Cape
Province of South Africa. This is a malaria free area, free of tropical
diseases and it is very safe. The historic town of Graaff-Reinet is used as a
year round basis. Two large and very well established game ranches in the
district are used from which the safaris are conducted. Side trips to view all
of the BIG 5 can be arranged to be included in the safari, as the Addo Elephant
National Park, Shamwari and the Mountain Zebra National Park are in close
proximity.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation varies from a luxury, full catering safari
lodge with thatched chalets to colonial style manors with luxury stone chalets
where clients are entertained and accommodated. Hot and cold water on tap and
electricity makes for very comfortable lodgings. Laundry service is offered as
well as daily cleaning services. All meals are catered for and are of a high
quality. The accommodations are located in areas with a vast number of scenic
vistas, mountains, plains and valleys.

HUNTING METHOD
Fair chase walk and stalk methods are used to locate and
track down animals. A large number of good trophies are available. Our past
success rates proofs this fact. Field preparation of trophies are done by
trained skinners to ensure that a cape of high quality is delivered to the
client’s taxidermist. A safari with TimV Safaris is conducted in the most
professional manner, ensuring that the client has a great time, good trophies
and even better memories. A high level of fitness is not required, as
the pace of the safari is set to the client’s liking and ability.

“LIKE HEMMINGWAY DID IT”
- NEW SAFARI OPTION
TimV Safaris have recently made a new addition to its
trophy-hunting portfolio, offering custom made safaris for single hunters.
Noticing that there are a number of hunters wanting to hunt Africa without
company, like a fellow hunters or an observing spouse, TimV Safaris will gladly
guide these hunters, while other safari companies are reluctant to book them.
