Safari Connections Africa is based in the
historic town of Graaff-Reinet
and situated in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. This is the fourth
oldest town in South Africa. It was established in 1786, and was named after
Cornelis Jacob van der Graaff (a former governor) and his wife Cornelia
Reijnet. It is the town in South Africa with the most number of historic sites
(212 to be exact) and it is world famous for the volcanic rock formations aptly
named "The Valley of Desolation".
