The Measuring Stick
Here is a example how one could
make one's own measuring stick. The stick is made from wood
( Block Wood). The measurement
markings is done by placing a ruler or tape measure by the wood of the
measuring stick. By using stencils and a marker pen one can mark the cm/
inches on the wood.
The FCI Standard quotes:-
Important proportions:
Ideal proportion for height
at withers to body length (measured
from the point of the shoulder
to the point of the ischium) = 5 : 6.
