Shopping

Cape Town is generally known for its beauty and its atmosphere. If the truth be told, we've got a ton of great shopping spots as well! (And we know that's the real reason for your visit!) Whether you're looking for an enormous shopping mall or a quaint little antique shop, Cape Town has what you want.

V&A Waterfront

If it's a lively shopping atmosphere you want then the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is where you'll find it. Restaurants, boutiques, banks and cinema's - you name it, it's here! There's even a food hall and a craft market.

Greenmarket Square in Town

If you're looking for something a little less expensive and a little more unique, then the place to try and find that antique watch or chest of drawers is the Greenmarket Square. Situated in the very heart of Cape Town, it is the ideal way to spend a morning while enjoying the scenery and life of Cape Town

Not to be out-done by the technology-savvy Americans, M-Web have taken the initiative and have set-up an online shopping mall. You'll be able to browse for real-estate, do your banking and even send some flowers, all from the comfort of your home. Be sure to check out the M-Web Mall - it's pretty neat!

If you're in Cape Town for a while, and you're keen to check out some other hot shopping spots, then be sure to pop in at:

  • (The all new, all improved) Cavendish Square
  • The Constantia Village Shopping Centre
  • The Tygervalley Shopping Centre
