A predicted audience of 37 billion people will watch the World Cup of Soccer.It is set to play out in ten of Frances most beautiful cities. Set in some of the most picturesque and historic cities in the World, most of the stadiums have been renovated, and in some cases completely rebuilt, just in time for the big kick off in June. A unique and special match schedule was dreamed up to accomodate the 64 matches over 33 days in 10 different cities. Each host city from Saint-Denis to Marseille, Bordeaux to Lens, and including Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes, Paris, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse, have promised to put on a show worth watching. Each city will host 6 matches, apart from Marseille (7), and Saint-Denis (9).
For the first time in World Cup history, each team will play its three first-round matches at a different venue each time. This innovation is sure to result in soccer of the highest quality!
