DAY 1
- The tour starts with a visit to Addo
Elephant Park where you can enjoy the
best elephant viewing in South Africa
- Afternoon drive to Grahamstown
- End the day with a short tour of Gunfire Hill,
Fort Selwyn and the 1920 Settler Monument
DAY 2
- After breakfast we take a walking tour of the
heart of Historic Gahamstown ending with a
visit to the Camera Obscura.
- Leave Grahamstown via the Fengo Village
and a visit to the Umtati Garden Project
- Travel along the Kings Highway to the historic
town of Fort Beaufort.
- Visit the Kaffrarian Museum and the historical
Frontier War Sites
- Afternoon drive to Hogsback Mountains
- Balance of afternoon at leisure
DAY 3
- Depart Hogsback after morning tea
- Visit the De Beers Art Gallery at the Fort
Hare University
- Travel via Adelaide and Bedford to Cradock
- Visit local highlights in Cradock
- Overnight at Cradock Tuishuise
DAY 4
- Leaving Cradock we visit the Mountain Zebra
National Park.
- Enjoy a game drive on the high mountain plateau where
may see zebra and many of the South African antelope.
- Visit the Owl House in Nieu-Bethesda before traveling
to Graaff-Reinet where we visit Reniet House and the
Valley of Desolation.
- Afternoon drive to Camdeboo Safari Lodge
DAY 5
- Our African Experience continues with an exciting
game drive, in open vehicles, to the top of the waterfall
and the slopes of the magical Toorberg Mountain.
- Spend the morning at leisure at the Camdeboo Lodge
- Afternoon drive to Port Elizabeth.
DAY 6
- Today we start the beautiful Garden Route
- We travel to Knysna stopping at the Big Tree,
Storms River Mouth, Blaaukrans Bridge,
the Old Pass Road and Plettenberg Bay.
- Sunset cruise on Knysna Lagoon
DAY 7
- Morning at leisure in Knysna
- In the afternoon we continue along the Garden Route
as we travel to Sedgefield, Wilderness, Dolphin Point,
George and over the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn
DAY 8
- In Oudtshoorn we visit the majestic Cango Caves,
the Safari Ostrich Ranch, a crocodile farm and taste
the local wine before traveling to Mossel Bay via
the beautiful Robertson Pass
DAY 9
- Today our journey take us to Riversdale, and Heidelberg
before reaching the quaint town of Swellendam
- Visit the Drosdty in Swellendam
- Drive via the fruit region to Worcester
- Tour of Kleinplaas working museum
- Afternoon drive to Paarl via Goudini, Du ToitsKloof
and the 4km Huguenot Tunnel
DAY 10
- The wine route waits for us today as we visit
famous wine estates to taste their wine.
- Lunch under the oaks on a wine estate
- Visit Franschoek and Stellenbosch before
arriving in the mother city, Cape Town
DAY 11
- After a relaxing breakfast we take e ride on the
cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a
spectacular view of Cape Town
- A short city tour and then spend the rest of the
afternoon at leisure in the city centre
- Evening visit to the exciting Waterfront
DAY 12
- Our last day is a relaxing drive to Cape Point via
Sea Point, Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak.
- Visit the site where the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean
meet before returning to Cape Town via Simonstown,
where we stop to see the penguins on the beach.
- The tour ends with a closing banquet at a
local restaurant
