    Day 1   Arrive Cape Town International Airport and transfer to Capetonian Protea Hotel. After lunch enjoy a breathtaking ride up the cable car to view Cape Town from the top of Table Mountain. The day ends with a guided tour of the heart of the city. Overnight at the Capetonian Protea Hotel

    Day 2   After breakfast depart on a tour of the Peninsular. Drive via Sea Point and the coastal road to the quaint village of Hout Bay, then past Chapmans Peak and on to Cape Point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean. Return to Cape Town via Muizenberg and Simonstown, stopping to walk on the beach with the penguins. The day is completed with a late afternoon visit to the bustling V&A Waterfront. Overnight at the Capetonian Protea Hotel

    Day 3   Today we visit the famous South African Wine Route. Enjoy wine tasting and cellar tours as we travel through the beautiful wine lands. After a light lunch on a wine estate we return to Cape Town via Franschoek and the Stellenbosch Valley. Overnight at the splendid Capetonian Protea Hotel.

    Day 4   We say good-bye to Cape Town and head for the Garden Route travelling via Paarl and the 4km Huguenot Tunnel to Worcester where we visit Kleinplaas, a working museum. Here the brave can taste the infamous apricot "Witblitz", sample the local chew-tobacco or enjoy a cup of "Rooibosch" tea. Driving through the wine areas of Worcester, Robertson and Bonnievale we arrive at our next stop, Swellendam. A chance to stretch our legs, take in some of the local highlights then it is off to Mossel Bay before crossing the stunning Robertson Pass to Oudtshoorn. Overnight at the Queens Hotel.

    Day 5   Our first stop of the day is explore the vast limestone caverns known as the Cango Caves. Enjoy a 1 hour guided tour of the first five chambers before travelling to the Safari Ostrich Farm to view and learn about the worlds largest bird. Lunch on the farm then drive via the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to George, Wilderness, Sedgefield and Knysna where we overnight at the Knysna Protea Hotel.

    Day 6   Spend the first part of the morning at leisure exploring the village of Knysna before departing along the Garden Route to Plettenberg Bay, Nature's Valley and our lunch stop at the Tsitsikamma Forest Inn. After lunch we visit the most beautiful spot on the Garden Route, Storms River Mouth. Here you can take an exhilarating walk to the swing bridge, relax on the private beach, explore the rock pools or simply relax in the sun at the Bridge Centre. A late afternoon drive brings us to the "Friendly City" of Port Elizabeth and our overnight stop at the Marine Protea Hotel.

    Day 7   An early start to the day as we depart for Addo National Elephant Park. Here we enjoy the best elephant experience in South Africa as we observe the gentle giants of Africa in their natural habitat. Lunch on a citrus farm before departing for East London, stopping in Grahamstown for a visit to the 1820 British Settler Monument and Fort Selwyn on Gunfire Hill. Afternoon drive through the Ciskei to East London where we overnight at the King David Protea Hotel.

    Day 8   Leaving East London behind us we travel through the beautiful Transkei with its rolling hills and traditional mud huts and on to Coffee Bay. The afternoon is spent relaxing and taking in some of the local attractions with rides to the top of the cliffs overlooking the hotel, visiting the local residents in their traditional mud huts, or enjoying a stroll along the beautiful beach. As evening falls we enjoy an "Fish Braai" in the hotel gardens. Overnight at the Ocean View Hotel.

    Day 9   Sadly we say good-bye to the "Wild Coast" and head inland to the spectacular Drakensberg Mountains. Our destination is the Drakensberg Gardens Hotel set in the Drakensberg Mountains on the Eastern side of Lesotho. Arriving just before lunch the rest of the day is at leisure. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool, playing golf, hiking in the mountains or perhaps try your luck at a bit of trout fishing in the nearby river. Overnight at Drakensberg Gardens Protea Hotel.

    Day 10   The holiday continues with the first part of the morning at leisure in the resort before departing on a scenic drive to Durban via Pietermaritzburg. The afternoon is spent on a short city tour including a visit to the famous Durban Indian Market. Spend the remainder of the afternoon on the beach or doing some shopping in the local shopping malls. Tonight we are treated to a Durban speciality, a sumptuous curry evening at the hotel. Overnight at the Gooderson Tropicana Hotel.

    Day 11   Heading North from Durban we enter the beautiful Zululand countryside as we travel to St Lucia for an entertaining riverboat ride on the St Lucia estuary. Keep your eyes open for the Hippo, crocodiles and the plentiful bird and game life on the banks of the river. After lunch we travel to Dumazulu for an introduction to the culture and traditions of the Zulu people. Watch awesome war dances performed by Zulu impies and the young maidens doing the rhythmical snake dance. Overnight at Bushlands Lodge.

    Day 12   Continuing North we enter the Mountain Kingdom of Swaziland. Our drive takes us over high mountains and down beautiful valleys as we travel to "Ezulweni" the Valley of Heaven. En route we stop at a candle factory to see the making of traditional decorative candles, a glass blowing factory and a craft market before arriving at our overnight destination, the Lugogo Sun Hotel.

    Day 13   After breakfast we leave the "Valley of Heaven" and take a majestic drive to Pigs Peak where we lunch at the local hotel. A short drive brings us to the border of the Kruger National Park. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Nelspruit as we prepare for tomorrow's big adventure in the Kruger Park. Overnight at the Crocodile Inn Protea Hotel.

    Day 14   This exciting day starts with a short drive to the Malelane Gate at the entrance to Kruger Park. The excitements mounts as we transfer to open game viewing vehicles for our game drive in the park. While searching for the "Big Five" keep your eyes open for all the other game and the plentiful bird life in the park. Your qualified game guide will point out game and bird life and give details and stories relating to the animals as you drive through the park. After an exciting game drive we leave the park at the Paul Kruger Gate and head for Hazyview where we overnight at the Hazyview Protea Hotel.

    Day 15   The final day of our tour take us through some of the most beautiful scenery in South Africa as we travel via the Blyde Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, look through Gods Window and stop at the historical mining town of Pilgrim's Rest. The afternoon drive takes us through rich farm lands and pineapple plantations and on to Johannesburg where our tour ends. For those leaving for home today, a direct transfer to the airport, and for others to a hotel of your choice.
