THE OWEN HORWOOD
SCHOLARSHIP FOR POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS

Nominations are invited for the Owen Horwood Scholarship.

Guidelines and Criteria for the award of the Scholarship:

  • Research/study must be undertaken in the field of development economics.
  • The reward is made every two years.
  • The scholarship will be considered for full time or part time research/study at post-graduate level.
  • The amount of R3 000.00 can be awarded as a lump sum.
  • The successful candidate will be selected by a panel appointed by the Central Council of the Economic Society of South Africa.

Please supply the following information as well:

  • Proposed title of research
  • Research proposal
  • Motivation from department
  • Curriculum vitae of the applicant

BEURS VIR NAGRAADSE STUDENTE

Nominasies vir die Owen Horwood beurs word ingewag.

Riglyne en kriteria vir toekenning van die Beurs is:

  • Navorsing/studie moet op die gebied van ontwikkelingsekonomie gedoen word.
  • Die toekenning word tweejaarliks gemaak.
  • Die Beurs word vir voltydse of deeltydse navorsing/studie op nagraadse vlak toegeken.
  • Die bedrag van R3 000.00 kan as ‘n enkel bedrag toegeken word.
  • Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal deur ‘n paneel, aangestel deur die Sentrale Raad van die Ekonomiese Vereniging van Suid-Afrika, aangewys word.

Verskaf asseblief ook die volgende inligting:

  • Voorgestelde titel van navorsing
  • Navorsingsvoorstel
  • Motivering deur departement
  • Curriculum vitae van die kandidaat.
