SCHOLARSHIP FOR POST-GRADUATE
STUDENTS
Nominations are invited for
the Owen Horwood Scholarship.
Guidelines and Criteria for the award of the
Scholarship:
- Research/study must be undertaken in the field of
development economics.
- The reward is made every two years.
- The scholarship will be considered for full time or
part time research/study at post-graduate level.
- The amount of R3 000.00 can be awarded as a lump
sum.
- The successful candidate will be selected by a
panel appointed by the Central Council of the Economic Society of South Africa.

- Proposed title of research
- Motivation from department
- Curriculum vitae of the applicant
