Visual Groundwater has the unique capability to import the data files for Visual MODFLOW modeling projects. This means that you can create 3-D graphical images of both model and input parameters.

Visual Groundwater animates transient simulations to show fluctuations due to seasonal precipitation, drawdown due to pumping and syncronized particle tracking and contaminant plume migration.

In many cases modeling will be done on already existing groundwater plumes. Visual MODFLOW allows you to graphically assign zones of initial concentration throughout the model domain.

For complex stratigraphy and varying hydraulic conductivity, it is important to be able to display the model property distributions in plan view and cross section to gain a proper perspective on the geologic characteristics of the site.
