Howick KwaZulu Natal South Africa:

The small midlands town of Howick lies nestled in a horsehoe of the Umgeni River. Most of the towns business activities are ceneterd around agriculture and a rubber factory. However, the popularity of the 93m high Howick Falls as a tourist attraction has slowly changed the towns focus towards tourism. Museums, restaurants and arts and crafts shops have sprung up with the growing tourism demand.

The Waterfall Restaurant and information centre overlooks the falls.

On the road northward towards the Karkloof Nature Reserve are the Cascade Falls (25m) and the Shelter Fall (37m), and the Karkloof Falls.
