Whereas most Southern African field guides limit their coverage of the region to south of the Zambezi, our wildlife guides to the fauna and flora of Southern Africa follow the trend towards including Angola, Zambia, Malawi and northern Mozambique. We believe that if we include these countries in our definition of the counties that make up the Southern African region when focusing on development or tourism, then we should do the same for the wildlife guides. However, if the figure refers to South of the Zambezi then we will include (SoZ) after the figure
