SIZE: Length (including tail) 37 cm, mass (m) 155 g, (f) 150 g.
COLOUR: Grey to grey-brown, with the underparts whitish-grey. The forehead is brindled white, the muzzle is white, and there are dark circles around the hazel-brown eyes.
MOST LIKE: The Thick-Tailed Bushbaby, but half the size. The lesser bushbaby's tail fluffs out a little towards the tip.
HABITAT: Bushveld, in association with acacia, mopane trees and riverine woodland. On the outskirts of forests but not within them.
