Bushveld
Camps
These
small camps satisfy the demand for smaller, more remote
camps. There are no shops or restaurants, but the bushveld
camps are all within easy reach of larger restcamps where
these facilities are available. Each camp has its own
reception office. Access to a bushveld camp is restricted
to visitors who have reserved accommodation in the camp.
All the huts in a bushveld camp have been sponsored and
the sponsor is entitled to a certain period each year.
For the rest of the year it is available to the public.

Private
Camps
Private
camps must be reserved en bloc and are ideal for small
groups who wish to enjoy the parks genuine African
atmosphere in a unique way. The private camps are administered
from certain restcamps as there are no resident restcamp
managers. Payment may be made at any gate or restcamp
where bedding tickets will be given to visitors, allowing
them entrance to the camp. All units are serviced and
bedding, towels and soap are provided. As there are no
shops or restaurant facilities at the private camps,
visitors should purchase all necessary items before proceeding
to the camps.
