Boulders Private Camp - Kruger National Park:

Location: Boulders is situated approximately 50 km north of Letaba Restcamp on the Mooiplaas-Phalaborwa Road.

Description:

Regulations:

  • Boulders is administered from Mopani Restcamp (16 km from Mopani to Boulders on a gravel road).
  • Visitors may take occupation of their accommodation from 12:00 and are requested to vacate before 09:00 on the day of departure.
  • Entrance gates and restcamp gates are closed at night. Visitors must ensure that they arrive at the entrance gate in good time to reach their private camp before closing time. No permits will be issued for late arrivals.

Accommodation:

  • A maximum of 12 persons can be accommodated at a time.
  • The camp is built on stilts with interconnecting boardwalks.
  • It is the only camp that is completely unfenced.
  • The main sleeping unit has a balcony and two bedrooms, each with two single beds and a bathroom en suite.
  • One of the bathrooms has a bath, shower, toilet and washbasin and the other one a shower, toilet and washbasin.
  • There are four separate rooms each with a balcony, two single beds and a bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.
Services / Facilities:
  • The main building has a lounge/diningroom, bar, guest toilet, kitchen with gas stove (with oven), refrigerator, freezer, sink, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and a pantry.
  • A large open veranda offers a view of a waterhole 100 metres away.
  • Solar energy is sufficient for lights and fans only. Ceiling fans are provided in the lounge and in the bedrooms.
  • Barbecue facilities.
  • Covered parking for two vehicles.
  • The nearest shop is at Mopani Restcamp.
