Hi Pat, I was wondering whether any of the SADC members might have any books on dachsies, preferably mini smooth but otherwise on all the sizes & coats, which they may like to sell and for which I would also pay p&p. As a newcomer to the breed, I have been disappointed to be able to get only one book (The contemporary Dachshund by Eileen Falconer-Douglas) from Pets Publications, and Amazon doesn't seem to have any, even secondhand ones. Any newsletters from any of the English Dachs clubs would be appreciated. I was particularly trying to locate the book by Elizabeth Howell (Heesom?). There are plenty of books on training etc., but I specifically wanted books giving backgrounds of the great dogs, pedigrees, photos etc. Hope I may be lucky!
