An Honours graduate of Rhodes University, Ashley Taylor is an instantly recognizable part of the South African celebrity landscape.
An accomplished actor, writer and voice artist, Ashley Taylor has starred in various award winning local and international television series, Isidingo, Soldier-Soldier and The Block. His film credits include a leading role in the multi-million dollar feature film Stander, based on the true life story of South Africa’s most notorious bank robber.
Ashley Taylor has done over a thousand radio and television voice-overs, and has narrated documentaries for the likes of the Discovery Channel and National Geographic. He has starred in a host of commercials covering television, cinema, magazines and billboards, both locally and abroad, and has become a household face with his hilarious comedic creations in the Outsurance infomercials.
Ashley Taylor is currently working on two screenplays, and a novel. The Love Letter, marks his fiction debut. He lives in Johannesburg, but will shortly be making New York City his home.
