La
Casella is a large farm-styled house nestled on the slope of
a gentle hill on the outskirts of Durbanville, adjoining the
beautiful vineyards of the historical Altydgedacht Wine
Estate.
On warm summer days stroll in
the garden amongst roses and vines or relax on the wide
verandah with a refreshing drink or in front of the
crackling log fire in winter. Walks and wine tasting on the
estate are by arrangement. La Casella is situated on the
Durbanville wine route which includes five excellent estates
producing award winning wines.

In good weather relax on the
wide verandah, take in the spectacular views and experience
the peace and tranquility of the country. On cool evenings
enjoy a good book and a glass of wine in front of the
crackling log fire.

La
Casella offers four luxuriously appointed non-smoking double
suites, all tastefully decorated and delightfully different.
All are large with high ceilings, twin beds and comfortable
seating area. We have used only the best linens, down duvets
and fully sprung beds.
The spacious en-suite
bathrooms each have a free standing Victorian bath and
separate shower. Other conveniences include tea / coffee
making facilities, fresh rusks, sherry, hair dryers and
television. You are also welcomed with a vase of freshly cut
flowers.

| Wholesome
Continental and Farm-style breakfasts including fresh
breads, muffins, a selection of cheeses, home made bacon,
omelettes and freshly brewed coffee are served in the dining
room or on the large verandah in fine weather. If preferred
you may take breakfast in the privacy of your room.
Dinners are happily served on
request and the local village and surrounds offer a variety
of excellent restaurants.

Casella offers an intimate, comfortable conference venue for
4 to 14 delegates, including all modern equipment, snacks,
light lunches and refreshments.
The tranquil country setting,
elegant furniture and farm style architecture, incorporating
large sliding sash windows and wide doors opening onto the
verandah, provide an ambience not experienced in a
conventional conference centre.
