White Wolf
David Gemmell
Reviewed by Kyle Brunette, 2003

Skilgannon, known to most simply as "the damned", left the lands of Nashan. No one knew where he had gone. He vanished from the pages of history - remembered only as the general who wreaked havoc on the city of Perapolis. Years later, a mob gathers outside a monastery, intent on murder. A lone unarmed priest stands to face them.

Skilgannon "the damned" has returned.

Although not the best book Gemmell has everwritten, White Wolf is just like the other books he has written - attention grabbing, interesting, and at points inspiring. The story bears a passing resemblance to that of Waylander. Also in the story is one of Gemell's favourite characters - Druss the Legend. All in all, a very good book well worth reading.

If you enjoyed Waylander, you'll enjoy this one.
