Star Trek - The Starfleet Survival Guide
David Mack
Pocket Books
Reviewed by Carla Martins, 2003

This book will definitely appeal to those Star Trek fans who swoon over the techno babble that the various Star Trek series spew out.

The content of the book covers diverse subjects such as the use of standard issue equipment for non standard uses, unconventional medicine, and dangerous life forms and so on.

As mentioned previously, if you are into the technical and scientific details of Star Trek, you will find this book a great read. But if you are, as I am, not really into the technobabble of Star Trek, then this book will leave you cold.
