    Suffice to say, that a day on THANDWENI farm, will led you to experiences yet to be believed. Visit the fresh water crayfish farm, walk among the NGUNI cattle, a breed so old their history is only now been revealed.

    ANTIQUES & THINGS. is situated in the 'Dempers' building, along side the duck pond, as our lagoon is fondly known. Here you will browse through a fascinating collection of the rarest porcelain, hall marked silver and mouth watering jewellery. Furniture and bric bracs.

    FORTY THREE AIR SCHOOL
    Port Alfred is famous for the air school which lies just outside of the town, on the Bathurst Road.  Potential pilots from all over the world have registered here to take the courses.  The air school, which is housed in buildings, built before the 2nd world war, offer the ultimate in lessons & accommodation.   The air school offers landing to anyone who owns their own plane.

A short hop from Port Alfred, you turn right at Bushmans river, towards the industrial area.  *sigh*  There, Justin Wilmot will show you just how he makes the most wonderful ice cream in the world!  He will take you through the entire history of ice cream making, let you taste & smell the ingredients & best of all, at the end, give you a cone to lick on the way home. WELL WORTH A VISIT!
