The word Enneagram stems from the Greek words 'Ennea' meaning nine and 'Gramos' meaning a graph or diagram. So we have a 9 pointed star, graph,diagram, indicating nine different views of the human condition. There are nine different personality types with nine different emotional tendencies, nine different psychological mindsets and nine different spiritual values. Each type is defined by a specific inner motivation and thought pattern which results in a unique life stratergy.
