The club is one of the oldest in South Africa and were established in 1932. The club is for persons interested in fly fishing that reside in the Transkei area, Eastern Cape Province, Republic of South Africa.
This Club is a non-profit organisation open for all
interested members of the community. Our club encourages and promote the sport of
fly-fishing, with the main emphasis on the geographical region of the former Transkei,
Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. The club strive to serve the needs of it's members in
respect of quality of fishing, fishing skills and related social activities.
The club promotes the proper control of fly fishing within our waters, both statutory and
morally. The Club promote sound conservation principles amongst it's members,
and through these actions, set an example to others. To achieve these objectives our club
actively liase with other associations or bodies, having similar objectives or to enable
the club to meet these objectives.
Membership is open to persons residing in the Transkei area, Eastern Cape Province, Republic of South Africa. Membership are currently renewable (see our Join the Club page) Members residing outside of this area may apply for country membership.
