Here’s a Special request regarding the fun ride on the 2nd December , all the clubs in the Western Province have been requested to organise this event . The reason why you haven’t been contacted to help marshall or work the entry tables is because we would rather have you there with your bicycle and riding in our club colours . This is an opportunity for all clubs to promote club cycling . Our club will erect the gazebo in the finish area , so come along and warm up for the super league the next day and bring along your best "tour de France " pose for the finish area.
Please note that the race on the 9th is not on the PPA calendar and will be organised by a private promotor , pre-entries are R60 and I think there are going to be cash prizes instead of the normal lucky dip.
As far as our information goes the ride on the 10th (Reddam House) has been cancelled.
Club Champs - Sunday 17th start 0800am .
An extra special request for all members to take part . There will be a handicap system in place in order to make it possible for even you to win it . There will be an entry fee of R5.00 and the club will put up a cash prize as well.

Track Champs
The provincial champs will take place at Paarl next year as the SACF has decided that the Nationals will be held in Port Elizabeth. Exact dates will be given in forthcoming newsletters.
WP Monthly club meeting
Apart from Chris Willemse receiving plenty of slaps on the back regarding the Three Day Track International , we were also brought up to date regarding unification. The mountain bikers SAMBA and the BMXers have joined forces with the SACF and one license can be used for all disciplines (different equipment ) , North Gauteng PPA have joined the SACF and Central Gauteng PPA will follow soon. A meeting is being planned for the WPCA and PPA(WP) in the near future .
EP Herald
Oscar Ferreira is going to arrange a bus up to Port Elizabeth for the EP Herald funride , club members will get first pick for a seat and the package will include a smart hotel and some meals. The bigger the response the bigger the bus that will be hired .
